NY Volunteer Visit

We were lucky enough to have several volunteers come down to the farm right after we received our Hurricane Harvey refugees in September, to help out with all of our new residents, and we couldn't be more thankful!

With the extra hands, our residents, and especially the Hurricane Harvey refugees, were able to get a little extra special time to play, go for walks, and just be around people, which can make all the difference! Check out the pictures below to see all the fun that our volunteers had while helping out at the farm...

Two different groups of dogs got to have some fun splashing around and cooling off in the river

All weekend, our dogs got to have some extra walks, so they could explore, get some exercise, and work
on walking on a leash.

We can't thank all of these ladies enough for all they do for our rescue and all the animals that they have helped! We are so lucky to have such an awesome rescue village. If you would like to lend a hand at the farm and help our residents get that extra, special time, we would love to have you! Contact the farm by email at Farm@SaintFrancisFarm.org.

Hurricane Harvey Cat and Kitten Refugees

As Hurricane Harvey catastrophically swept across Texas and Louisiana, thousands of animals were left behind. Many rescues were called upon to take action, and because of your support, Saint Francis Farm was able to step up!

With your help we were able to save 17 cats and bring them to safety at St Francis Farm after Hurricane Harvey! Of those 17,  6 cats and kittens have already found their forever homes, 2 are already in foster homes and 3 more will be heading up this week (10/20/17) to their NY foster homes.
